Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical components and systems to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. This role requires commitment to safety, precision, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems according to blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to achieve precise fits and tolerances.
- Conduct functional testing of completed assemblies to ensure proper operation.
- Identify and resolve assembly or component issues, reporting recurring problems to the supervisor.
- Inspect parts and assemblies for defects or inconsistencies, adhering to quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain compliance with production standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, completed tasks, and test results.
- Provide feedback on assembly procedures to improve efficiency and quality.
- Work closely with engineering, quality control, and production teams to meet project goals.
- Participate in training and development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Technical certification or training in mechanical assembly ().
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, overhead crane operation or a related field (1-3 years ).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Ability to lift, carry, and manipulate materials up to 50 lbs
- Basic math skills and the ability to calculate measurements.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality.
