Job Description:
Join our innovative team as a Mechanical Assembler I where you will play a crucial role in assembling high-pressure oxygen cylinders in a large-scale manufacturing environment. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled professional to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of work and upholding our high-quality standards in both standard and non-standard environments. If you are passionate about precision, quality, and innovation, this is the perfect opportunity for you. This position operates on a 4x10 schedule, Monday-Thursday with the possibility of required overtime.
What You Will Do:
- Precision Assembly: Utilize hand tools such as torque wrenches, crowfoot wrenches, and allen wrenches for daily assembly tasks.
- Measurement & Inspection: Employ measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and standard rulers, to ensure products meet specifications.
- Blueprints & Instructions: Follow blueprints and operation sheets for standard work instructions in assembling products.
- Equipment Adjustment: Adjust equipment based on test results and a thorough understanding of processes and machinery.
- Testing & Recording: Conduct tests for oxygen purity and moisture content at various stages of the process, recording gauge readings and test results.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to PPE and cleanroom standards to prevent foreign objects and debris from contaminating products.
- Quality & Safety Standards: Perform all tasks in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day.
- Other Duties: Perform additional job duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS diploma or GED. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Must be a U.S. Person
