About this Opportunity:
To safely and effectively operate all Machinery and Equipment in the Secondary Production Department by performing the following duties.




Responsibilities:

  • Operate various Machining, Assembly, Printing and Finishing Machines and Equipment per Work Instructions.
  • M.O.I.'s. Machines such as Presses, Milling Machines, Laser Welders, Laser Cutters, Spot Welders, Printers, Tweaking Tools etc.
  • Perform gauging and visual inspections per M.O.I.'s.
  • Fill out required paperwork (Followers, Inspection Ticket, etc.).
  • Maintain on organized, clean and safe work environment and follow 6S standards.
  • Properly follow all safety procedures and policies. Use correct P.P.E.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
  • May be assigned to work in other departments.

Requirements:

  • High School, or Technical School Diploma, or General Education Degree (GED). No prior experience or training required.
  • Able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, (M.OI's Work Instructions, Quality Bulletins, Job Followers, etc.).
  • Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations with other employees.
  • Ability to do basic Math.
  • Abilit to participate in small problem-solving groups
  • Ability wo work overtime and Saturdays on an as needed basis.
