JSG is seeking a motivated Mechanical Assembler to play a vital role in assembling high-reliability mechanical components and subassemblies used in cutting-edge applications. This is a 1st shift position for our client located in Hauppauge NY

Pay $21 to $23/hour

Required Skills

• 2 to 3 years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Proficiency with hand tools, fixtures, and basic measuring equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in aerospace, electronics, or medical device manufacturing
• Familiarity with troubleshooting and performing minor rework
• Basic understanding of assembly equipment and process optimization

Other Requirements

• Must be a US and able to provide documentation for I-9 verification
• Successful completion of background checks and pre-employment drug screening
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime, with hours typically around 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving assembly tasks and use of various production tools and equipment
