Location: Itasca, ILPay: $23-25/hr

Shift: 1st Shift Overview:
We’re seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembler with a carpentry or construction background to assist in building large enclosure units. This position differs from a typical machine builder role — you’ll be assembling HVAC systems, siding, doors, and windows, using construction techniques and mechanical assembly skills.Responsibilities:

• Assemble enclosure units, including installing siding, doors, windows, and HVAC components
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Perform accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting
• Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes as needed
• Maintain organization and attention to detail on the job site

Qualifications:

• Background in carpentry, construction, or mechanical assembly
• Able to read blueprints and follow assembly instructions
• Strong measuring and leveling skills
• Experience with forklift, scissor lift, or overhead crane a plus
• Must have own basic tools
• Electrical experience is a plus (licensed contractors handle electrical work)
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and sense of urgency
