Mechanical Assembler - CNC Background

Location: Southeast Houston, TX

Pay: $28.00/hr

Schedule: Full-time | 1st Shift

LINK Staffing is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a full-time opportunity in Southeast Houston. This role is a strong fit for candidates with mechanical assembly experience and a background in CNC, machining, or precision manufacturing.

Candidates with CNC mill, CNC lathe, or 5-axis experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical parts and components using drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Use hand tools and power tools for fitting, fastening, adjustment, and final assembly
• Perform quality checks to verify alignment, fit, and measurements
• Work with precision-machined components during assembly
• Support production needs tied to machining and assembly operations
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and help keep builds moving
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Requirements

• Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, or work instructions
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with precision measurements and close tolerances
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand for extended periods

• CNC mill, lathe, or 5-axis experience
• Experience with machined parts
• Familiarity with metric measurements
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Experience in precision manufacturing
