Mechanical Assembler – Hydraulics Technician

Location: Fairfax, OH Area Shift: 1st Shift 7am-4pm Pay: $21.00 – $29.00/hr

Role Overview

Join a high-tech manufacturing leader providing innovative surface treatments for the aerospace, medical, and power industries. We are seeking a skilled technician to assemble, install, and test hydraulic systems and electronic components. This role offers a fast-paced environment with high autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Hydraulic Assembly: Build and install systems using pumps, valves, manifolds, and hoses.
• Technical Literacy: Read mechanical blueprints and hydraulic/electrical schematics.
• Electrical Work: Wire control panels, solenoids, sensors, and motors; build custom cables.
• Testing & Diagnostics: Perform pressure/functional testing and troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues.
• Precision Tools: Utilize torque wrenches, multimeters, soldering equipment, and hand tools.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven hands-on background in hydraulic assembly and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge: Strong foundation in mechanics and electronics.
• Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with limited supervision and manage time effectively.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in standard and specialized computer applications.
