Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location: Carrollton, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $18.00 per hour
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime flexibility: 5:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Saturdays as required)

ROLE IMPACT: Join a growing manufacturing team responsible for assembling advanced electromechanical equipment used in secure commercial environments. In this role, you'll help ensure products are built to quality standards, function reliably, and are delivered on schedule. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly support production efficiency and customer satisfaction.

KEY DUTIES

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components for complex electromechanical equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete mechanical and electrical assembly tasks
• Perform quality inspections to verify proper fit, wiring accuracy, and overall functionality
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or wiring issues while meeting production and quality standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams

EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Climate-controlled warehouse setting
• Frequent use of hand tools and power tools
• Work with small mechanical parts, wiring, and electronic components
• Standing for extended periods during assembly tasks
• Overtime and Saturday work as required

SKILLS

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented production environment
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
