Description:
Davis Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Matteson, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling conveyor systems and mechanical subassemblies according to technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Job Requirements Include:
• Previous experience in mechanical assembly
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Basic math skills, ability to read and interpret documents, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Job Responsibilities Include:
• Assemble conveyor systems, subassemblies, and components using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Align and secure parts using bolts, screws, rivets, and other fasteners.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and other production staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.

Job Details Include
• 1st shift
• 07:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Monday - Friday.
