Mechanical Assembler

1st Shift 5:00 AM- 3:30 PM

$16/hr

Assembly line, warehouse setting

• Perform activities in assembly functions
• Perform assembly and material movement functions
• Follow production schedules & communicates with supervisor
• Receive instructions from production supervisor and from operations on production plan
• Fits, aligns, calibrates and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements; repairing units or products that have failed to meet requirements
• Inventory control and cycle counts
• Maintain a clean working environment
• Performs other duties and/or completes training as required.

Experience in the following elements is required:

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Have 1 year of previous assembler experience on a production floor
• Experience with hand and power tools  
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English 
• Previous experience in a manufacturing operations environment
• Work involves physical demands typically found in a manufacturing environment, such as but not limited to prolonged standing, bending, lifting and/or moving materials required by Supervisor.
• Over head crane experience required.
