We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler to become an integral part of our team! You will perform assembly tasks as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembling products or sub-assemblies: in a manufacturing environment, according to verbal or written instructions or by following drawings, procedures, wiring lists or set operating procedures.
  • Positioning and aligning parts: Ensuring parts are correctly aligned and fitted together.
  • Fastening and joining components: Using bolts, screws, rivets, or other methods to secure parts.
  • Quality control: Inspecting assembled parts and products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintaining work area: Keeping the workspace clean and organized, including tools and equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the assembly process.
  • Working with others: Collaborating with other assemblers and team members to achieve production goals.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and instructions: Understanding technical drawings to determine the correct sequence of assembly.
  • Assembling components: Using hand and power tools to put parts together, following specifications.
  • Soldering and crimping: Soldering and crimping of small gauge wire (28 AWG).
  • Testing responsibilities: to include Electronics and Electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Accurately: record information, traceability requirements, labor hours, and other statistics.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
