This job is mechanical assembly of industrial equipment.  It involves An Assembler should be a people person who can work well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments. Common responsibilities for an Assembler are:

  • Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
  • Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
  • Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
  • Follow company procedures and directives.
  • Test finished products for defects.
  • Maintain the tools used to create products.
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
  • * Perform incoming inspections with the appropriate equipment.
  • * Communicate with purchase on discrepancies and facilitate returns and replacements, properly mark and record reject materials.

·       · Minimum Requirements:

 

·       · High school diploma or equivalent
 

·       · Strong mechanical skills/electrical aptitude A plus
 

·       · Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
 

·       · Experience installing mechanical components and piping,
 

·       · Exceptional work ethic, can-do attitude and team player
 

·       · Willing and able to adhere to all Company policies, including strict adherence to safety procedures
 

·       · Willing and able to learn, understand and support the Company s quality objectives
 

·       · Able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and colleagues
 

·       · Able to work independently with minimal instruction/supervision and effectively plan, organize and execute own activities
 

·       · Able to lift and move up to 40 lbs.; Excellent visual acuity
 

·       · Flexible and adaptable by nature; able to work well under pressure and within changing environments
 

·       · Willing and able to wear personal protective equipment necessary for job duties performed
 

·       · Willing to cross-train as needed
