Summary
 Performs moderately complex production, assembly, and rework operations in a manufacturing environment and works with occasional supervision while maintaining Jamco’s quality and safety standards.Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble and rework products and sub-assemblies using drawings, blueprints, work orders, shop processes, and written/oral instructions.
• Operate hand tools and production equipment, including screwdrivers, drills, clamps, vises, knives, gauges, scales, and temperature recorders.
• Work with adhesives, laminates, fiberglass/resins, potting compounds, and other production materials.
• Follow applicable BMS, BAC, JMS, and other aerospace specifications while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and use sound problem-solving skills to resolve production concerns.
• Work collaboratively with other personnel and departments to resolve issues.
• Perform and support multiple production area processes as assigned.

Qualifications

• Typically 1+ year of assembly experience, preferably in mechanical assembly, final assembly, seat assembly, bonding, or aircraft interiors.
• Basic job-related coursework or vocational training .
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, procedures, safety rules, and work instructions.
• Ability to follow written, oral, and diagram-based instructions and communicate clearly and professionally in English.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and commitment to quality and customer requirements.
• Successful completion of required pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.

Driving Requirements
 Operation of a company vehicle may be required. If applicable, employees must maintain a valid Washington State Driver’s License and acceptable driving record and may be subject to driving-record reviews.Physical Demands & Work Environment
 Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment and frequently requires standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing, as well as sufficient close vision to perform assigned duties.
