Job Summary:

Our company is hiring a dependable and organized Mechanic Shop Supervisor Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of our diesel repair shop. The ideal candidate will assist the shop supervisor in managing workflow, supporting our diesel mechanic team, maintaining inventory, and helping ensure repairs are completed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the shop supervisor in scheduling and assigning diesel repair jobs
• Monitor progress of ongoing work and ensure timely job completion
• Communicate job updates between mechanics, supervisors, and customers
• Help manage parts inventory and coordinate parts orders
• Maintain detailed repair logs, inspections, and work orders
• Ensure the shop remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Provide customer support and front-desk help when needed

✅ Qualifications:

• Experience working in a diesel mechanic shop strongly
• Basic understanding of diesel engines, systems, and repair procedures
• Good communication, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Must be bilingual (Spanish and English) – required

Physical Requirements:

• Stand for extended periods
• Lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Work safely around heavy equipment, diesel engines, and tools
