The Materials Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing all aspects of the Materials, Warehouse, and Packaging Department. This position focuses on overseeing inventory of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies, ensuring inventory levels meet production demands while driving cost reduction initiatives. The supervisor plans, coordinates, and monitors material scheduling, receipt, storage, and shipping to support efficient manufacturing and delivery schedules. Reporting directly to the Materials Manager, the supervisor is utilizing warehouse management software to optimize logistics and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory management of raw materials, finished goods, and packaging supplies.
• Manage warehouse operations ensuring proper storage and handling of materials.
• Coordinate packaging processes to align with production and shipping schedules.
• Plan and schedule material receipt and movement to meet manufacturing demands.
• Supervise shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Collaborate with suppliers for material availability and cost efficiency.
• Monitor inventory requirements and adjust levels to prevent shortages or excess.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in materials management.
• Associate degree in Logistics or Materials Management.
• Proficiency in Inventory Control and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Skilled in logistics planning and time management.
