Materials Planner

Kinetic PLC are recruiting for an Material Planner on behalf of our client in Newcastle!\n\nAre you experienced in material planning and confident working with MRP/ERP systems? Do you enjoy keeping production running smoothly and ensuring materials are available on time? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!\n\nWhat you'll be doing:\n* Reviewing the ERP system daily to make sure materials are available as per BOM requirements.\n* Converting ERP (Oracle ASCP) suggested requirements into purchase requisitions.\n* Working closely with the Production Scheduler to identify risks and resolve material issues.\n* Acting as the link between procurement, projects, and production teams to keep things moving.\n* Monitoring inventory levels to maintain material flow while supporting cash flow targets.\n* Ensuring data quality and accuracy in the ERP system.\n\nWhat we're looking for:\n* Proven experience in Material Planning.\n* Previous MRP/ERP experience - Oracle ASCP is a real bonus!\n* Knowledge of Engineering BOM structures.\n* Strong communication, organisation, and influencing skills.\n* Confident IT skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).\n\nThe details:\n* Location: Newcastle\n* Hybrid: 1 day home office possible (after training)\n* Hours: 37.5 per week, compressed week available (half-day Friday), core hours 10am-4pm\n* Pay:£17.94 per hour\n\nIf you're organised, service-oriented, and ready to step into a rewarding and flexible role - we'd love to hear from you!\n\nKinetic Plc is a specialist recruitment consultancy with over 40 years' experience supporting the engineering, manufacturing, and technical sectors.
