Materials Planner
Job Description
Alexander Steele are working with a Ambient Food Manufacturer in West Yorkshire which are looking to recruit a Materials Planner.\nThe ideal candidate has worked in a supply chain planning role previously within a manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Manage contracts (4–13 weeks) and call-offs (1–3 weeks) in line with forecasted demand and production plans.\n * Oversee end-to-end supplier management including short/long-term demand, expediting materials, and resolving delivery issues.\n * Collaborate with Supply Planning, Demand Planning, GTM, Commercial, and Procurement to ensure accurate and timely supply.\n * Maintain purchase orders, stock levels, safety stocks, and lead times, ensuring data integrity across Sage and Infor.\n * Monitor KPIs, packaging runout reports, and contracts to maximise efficiency and minimise obsolescence.\n * Support packaging redesigns, delists, and NPD launches.\n * Resolve invoice queries and raise hold/rejection notes in line with agreed procedures.\n * Contribute to S&OP processes, weekly/ad-hoc meetings, and stock take activities.\n * Uphold health & safety, brand integrity, and company policies at all times.\n * Take responsibility for personal development and contribute to projects as required.\nOn Offer:\n * Annual Salary of circa £30,000\n * Monday to Friday - Friday WFH - 40 hours p/w - Office Hours with flexibility\n * 33 days AL\n * Company Pension\nIf this role is of interest or you require further information, please apply with your most up-to-date CV
