Our client an aerospace company located in Southampton, MA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Materials Handler to join their warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the movement, storage, and distribution of materials within the warehouse environment. This role is vital to ensuring smooth shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes, supporting overall operational productivity. There would also be an administrative and inventory aspect to this position, so some time might be spent in their professional office as well.

This would be a Mon-Fri traditional office hours role and the client is looking to go the temp to hire route to get this one filled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately count, verify, and package aircraft parts according to work instructions and quality standards
• Support receiving inspections by confirming part numbers, quantities, certifications, and accompanying documentation
• Process incoming materials, including logging, labeling, and proper segregation of parts
• Prepare parts and documentation for shipment, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Maintain complete traceability of parts, records, and documentation in accordance with FAA and internal quality systems
• Assist with inventory management, including organization, cycle counts, and proper storage of materials
• Perform administrative support tasks such as data entry and filing of quality records
• Collaborate with accounting on various administrative and operational tasks
• Follow established procedures for handling, packaging, and shipping aerospace components
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
• Provide support to quality, production, shipping, and accounting teams as needed

Qualifications Needed:

• Strong attention to detail, especially in counting, verification, and documentation
• Ability to follow written procedures and adhere to strict quality requirements
• Basic computer proficiency (data entry; ERP or inventory system experience )
• Familiarity with aerospace parts or regulated environments is a plus
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent

This temp to hire Materials Handler position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals committed to operational excellence in a dynamic warehouse environment.
