Job Title: Materials Handler\n Location: Plymouth\n Job Type: Full-time, Permanent\n Salary: £24,653.69 per year\n Shift: 8:00am-4:00pm (Monday to Friday)\n\nJob Summary\n\nWe are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Materials Handler to join our warehouse team. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, and movement of materials and products across the site, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal processes.\n\n**There is potential for quick progression in this role, which will lead to an increase in salary**\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLoad and unload vehicles in accordance with company procedures\n\nPick kits or parts based on work orders or pick lists\n\nIssue parts to the machine shop and production teams in line with the plan\n\nPut away products in the correct stores or warehouse locations\n\nPack parts according to specific packing instructions, including those for subcontractors\n\nPrepare seal kits and spare parts for shipment in line with agreed processes\n\nLabel products appropriately\n\nUnpack and decant products\n\nSupport replenishment of lineside and Kanban stock\n\nAllocate products for sales orders\n\nCollect defective products from the factory and process returns (RTS)\n\nComplete SAP transactions for booking in, picking, packing, and stock movements\n\nUse Warehouse Management System (WMS) for routine tasks\n\nMaintain housekeeping through daily 5S activities\n\nOperate forklift trucks as required\n\nFollow all company health and safety policies and procedures\n\nEssential Requirements\n\nMinimum 3 years experience in warehousing, materials handling or similar industry \n\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\n\nBasic verbal and numerical skills\n\nProactive and willing to learn\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\nValid Counterbalance FLT Licence\n\nPivot Steer FLT Licence\n\nReach Truck Licence\n\nPPT (Powered Pallet Truck) Licence\n\nBasic SAP user experience\n\nHow to Apply\n\nCall (phone number removed) and ask for Chris Henry to learn more.
