We’re looking for a Materials Handler to join our Operations Team. In this role, you’ll keep production and shipping running smoothly by moving, staging, and tracking raw materials and finished goods with precision and care.

Position Details

  • Job Type: Full-time (Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime or seasonal workload adjustments as needed)
  • Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

Schedule & Overtime Expectations

  • This role is primarily scheduled during assigned shift hours. From time to time, business needs may require work during evenings, weekends, or overtime periods to support production demands, peak workloads, or client commitments.

What You’ll Do

  • Move Materials Safely: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and equipment to move raw materials and finished goods.
  • Stage for Success: Ensure production lines are stocked and ready at least 30 minutes before scheduled start times.
  • Verify & Track: Unload shipments, confirm against packing lists, and update inventory records with 99% accuracy.
  • Use Technology: Record and track inventory using warehouse systems, scanners, and data entry tools.
  • Stay Organized: Keep warehouse and staging areas clean, orderly, and inspection-ready.
  • Support Operations: Assist shipping and receiving functions while collaborating with production and inventory teams.
  • Live Safety First: Follow all IPI safety policies, operate equipment responsibly, and participate in safety initiatives.

Measures of Success

  • Production lines never stall because of missing or misplaced materials.
  • Shipments are verified and stored within two hours of arrival.
  • Inventory is accurate and ready for quick retrieval.
  • Safety goals are consistently met with zero violations.
  • Production and shipping teams give positive feedback on material flow and communication.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years in material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing.
  • Forklift certification required (other OSHA or warehouse safety training a plus).
  • Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems .
  • Reliable, detail-focused, and team-oriented.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to lift 50 lbs. and stay active throughout shifts.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (standing/walking for most of the shift, varying temperatures, moderate noise).
  • Basic math and computer/data entry skills.
  • Desire to grow — opportunities available to move into Lead or Supervisor roles for high performers.
