Functional Area
Position Purpose
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility. This role supports production and logistics operations by ensuring materials are accurately received, stored, and delivered to the appropriate locations in a timely manner.

Scope of Responsibilities and Duties
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials and supplies against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Safely move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the facility as required.
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material‑handling equipment.
- Deliver materials to production lines to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
- Accurately label, store, and organize materials in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and audits.
- Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues to supervision.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with safety standards.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Operate material‑handling equipment safely and perform basic equipment checks.
- Assist with shipping and staging of outgoing materials as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Competencies
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience .
- Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification.
Technical Competencies
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
- Basic understanding of inventory processes and documentation.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
- Ability to perform basis math calculations.
