Job Title: Materials Handler
\n Job location: Crewe, Cheshire
\n Hourly pay rate: £16.87 PAYE or £21.83 Umbrella
\n Hours per week: 37 Hours per week
\n Shifts: 08:00AM 16.30PM

Duration: 12 Month Contract +

\n

Client Summary:
\n Our client is a global leader in Rolling Stock vehicle manufacturing, service and maintenance.

\n

Position Summary:
\n This position will be mainly based on an FLT truck, but you will be required to do a considerable amount on manual handling.
\n The position is a contract position, based a busy engineering department based in Crewe. Applicants would ideally have the ability to complete all of the following:
\n * Good knowledge of material supply
\n * Experience of picking
\n * Knowledge of SAP or similar stock control systems ()
\n * Good organisational and communication skills
\n * Stock control and rotation (this is essential)
\n * FLT experience with a Counterbalance and Reach license, Flexi-Truck ( but not essential)
\n * Ability to work to tight deadlines

\n

Person Profile/Experience:
\n * Similar experience with a heavy industry / engineering stores
\n * Refreshed their Counterbalance license within the last three years
\n * Able to work well within a small team
\n * Be able to work alone for periods and be responsible for their work.
