Connect Appointments is looking for an experienced Material Handler with counterbalance to join our growing client in the Auchterarder area. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Working as a Materials Handler, your duties will involve booking goods in to stock, issuing stock for relevant jobs, consolidating stock and putting back into storage. Combined with the following:

\n

\n
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

\n

• Using handheld scanners to pick stock for use

\n

• Reading labels to identify correct goods for issue

\n

• consolidation of stock to put back into storage

\n

• Storing and receiving goods throughout the warehouse

\n

• Safely manoeuvring the forklift in a busy environment

\n

\n

To be successful in this Material Handler role, you will have a valid forklift license, combined with previous work experience in a warehouse and/or other material handling role. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:

• Good problem solving skills

\n

• A reliable and positive attitude

\n

• Good attention to detail with good numeracy skills

\n

\n
