Materials Engineer in PE1

Job Description

Location: Peterborough\nRate: £50.50 FCSA Umbrella (inside IR35) or £37 PAYE\nDuration: 12 months (Likely to extend) \n \nWe are actively looking for a Materials Engineer for a global automotive company based in Peterborough. You will be working in state-of-the-art labs, testing materials related to automotive manufacturing. The team consists of 21 engineers across UK and European sites.

\n \nRequirements: \n\nMaterials Science or Metallurgy degree and/or substantive experience within a materials laboratory environment.\nMetallurgical / materials evaluation of new products, processes and/or systems.\nAbility to provide technical guidance on product and process maintenance.\nAbility to Identify metallurgical / materials manufacturing defects and make process improvement recommendations
