Johnson Service Group is seeking an Order Management & Materials Coordinator for a 1 year contract position in the Roanoke, Virginia area!

Order Management & Materials Coordinator

Contract Length: 1 year, possible extension

Contract Location: Roanoke, VA (24012)

Pay Rate: $24.00/hr

First Shift: M- F 5:00 AM- 1:30 PM ONSITE

This position requires a criminal background check as well as a drug screen.

Description:

This person will coordinate the below processes with the operations manager, supervisors and any line servers. The purpose of this role is to reduce the of open orders, reduce past dues and decrease to amount of customer escalations. Point of contact between Syracuse planning and customer service (for Syracuse products)

• Escalations (coordinate for reduced interruption – not all escalations can be honored)
• Cancelations
• Status update
• Order management to include identifying efficiencies in assembling like products together in a batch
• Prioritization of assembly benches
• Communicate any material issues back to Syracuse planning team
• Missing materials
• Quality issues
• Incorrect inventory in Roanoke
• Potentially have them perform the cycle count and adjustment
• BOM issues (identify items not backflushing and engage planners for corrective action) (engage the sustaining engineering team)
• Participate in Gemba with Metrics related to Syracuse product line (Open $ on the floor)

Required:

• 2 year degree

• Microsoft Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• SAP
• Excel
