Materials Controller

Location: Leicester, LE3
Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour
Hours: Day shifts – exact hours to be confirmed

Metalis Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Materials Controller to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Leicester.

Working alongside the existing Stock Controller, you will play an important role in maintaining accurate stock records and ensuring stock counts are completed correctly to support reporting and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carrying out regular stock counts and checking inventory levels for accuracy.

* Working closely with the Stock Controller to maintain accurate stock records.

* Recording stock figures and ensuring all information is documented correctly.

* Identifying and reporting any stock discrepancies.

* Maintaining clear and accurate records to support internal audits.

* Following company procedures to ensure stock control processes are completed efficiently.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Has excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

* Is comfortable counting stock and recording information accurately.

* Has good basic numeracy and organisational skills.

* Can work independently and alongside an existing team.

* Has previous experience in stock control, inventory, stores or a warehouse environment (desirable).
