Materials Controller (12 Month FTC) in Peterlee

Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading global manufacturing business to recruit a Material Controller for an exciting 12-month fixed-term opportunity.

Key Duties:

\n

\n
• Run MRP materials (SAP).

\n

• Ensure continuity of supply to production.

\n

• Co-ordinate SOP (Start of Production) and EOP (End of Production).

\n

• Monitor/adjust material requirements in accordance with customer demand.

\n

• Ensure transmission of schedules to supplier weekly (EDI).

\n

• Expedite material deliveries.

\n

• Liaise with suppliers/transport companies.

\n

• Liaise with internal customers.

\n

• Maintain supplier files.

\n

• Support annual and interim inventory checks.

\n

• Support inventory reduction activities.

\n

• To control freight expenditure.

\n

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations. Exercise high standards of H&S at all times, including environmental safety awareness.

• £37,000 - £40,000 per annum.

\n
