Material Science Laboratory provides service support analytical techniques and scientific analysis for material, process, products on cleanliness, contamination, and failure analysis as part of MSCE, Material Science Contamination Engineering under Global quality. This is an individual contributor role, reports to the ManagerAbout the role - you will: Perform cleanliness analysis apply laboratory instrument and standard operating procedure Apply knowledge and laboratory analytical skill to support regular and upon laboratory requisition Hand on the laboratory equipment's Perform standard Product cleanliness, contamination analysis and other new product qualification and book build alignment Coordinate with concern parties to solve problem of assembly process related, contamination, material, and engineering process Accomplish cleanliness and contamination project improvement Developable to collaborate with cross-functional team to solve the problem of contamination, material and process Phase 0 to Pre-SAD(Pre-Ship Approval Document) Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, FMEA and PDP, Product Development Process risk register) engaging for new product and new seal drive process review understanding and be able to be coordinator Air and Helium PMR and HAMR Product performance, contamination analysis and other drive project contamination & Cleanliness basic expectation understanding Baseline benchmarking pre-POR and POR, Plan of Record material and component prior SAD, Ship Approval Document Participate in and/or establish internal control limit, specification for uncommon/unique material and component Perform complicated analysis services with available equipment Able to support specific evaluation and correlations Control and maintain all lab instruments in a good condition Communicate status of projects and progress to supervisor Summarize accomplishment, issue and relevant assignment as supervisor required Support the organizational goals in achieving total customer satisfaction #NewgradAbout you: Excellent teamwork, leadership and coachability Capable of communicating in a complex technical knowledge with cross-functional team Good communication and presentation skills Ability to effectively plan, control and take responsibility for group's results Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage conflicting deadlines, and work effectively in a dynamic environment Fluent in both spoken and written English communication Change agility and skill developable Your experience includes: Bachelor or higher degree in science and/or Engineering discipline and/or equivalent experience Good knowledge of laboratory analysis methodology Hard disc drive technology and related assemblies' process You might also have: Work experience using laboratory analytical instrument and techniques e.g., optical microscope, SEM, EDX, FTIR, Raman, TOF-SIMs will be special consideration Having a good understanding of quality in cleanliness and contamination improvement mindset Location: Our Korat facility is our largest manufacturing site worldwide, with almost 20,000 employees.
