Material Planning Analyst

Location: Peterlee

Hourly Rate: £20.53 PAYE or £26.87 Umbrella

Duration: 12-month contract

Working Arrangements: This is a fully onsite position in Peterlee.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 12:30pm

The Role

As a Material Planning Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth supply chain operations and meeting business demands. Working within a team of 10 (a mix of permanent and agency staff), you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders to solve problems and optimise planning processes.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing and analysing material planning processes
• Working with MRP systems to ensure accurate supply chain data
• Collaborating across teams to resolve planning challenges
• Supporting business needs through effective problem-solving

What we’re looking for:

• Strong MRP knowledge
• Excellent collaboration skills
• Proven problem-solving ability
• Strong Excel skills
• Experience with SAP
• Degree in a relevant field
• At least 2 years’ experience in supply chain or material planning
• Strong communicator with a proactive mindset
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, ever-changing role
