Material Handler/Overhead Crane Operator

Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler/Overhead Crane Operator to join a dynamic team at a metal processing facility in Charlotte, NC. In this role involves ensuring the efficient movement and organization of materials throughout the facility. You must have experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes, the ability to read measuring devices, and knowledge of DOT regulations and load weight.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in material handling or a similar industrial role.

• Equipment Proficiency: Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes (certification ).

• Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting and moving heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) regularly.

• Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in handling shipments.

• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety standards and practices.

• Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
