Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Marketing Project Manager to lead a growing team of marketing professionals while overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of projects across multiple distinct brands. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and can balance team management with tactical project execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in marketing operations and project management, with the ability to prioritize tasks, align resources, and ensure timely delivery of campaigns and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Manage and mentor a team of marketing staff (e.g., content creators, creatives, marketplace specialists, SEO & web designers), ensuring accountability and professional development.
- Allocate resources across brands to balance team workload and optimize productivity.
- Act as the primary liaison between brand stakeholders and the marketing team to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
Project & Campaign Management:
- Oversee end-to-end execution of marketing projects, from briefing to launch, across multiple unique brands.
- Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Run regular project check-ins and marketing status meetings to track progress, identify roadblocks, and escalate issues when needed.
- Implement & Use tools and systems (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Trello) to manage workflows, assets, and deadlines effectively.
Strategy & Reporting:
- Collaborate with brand managers and leadership to align marketing activities with business objectives.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics and team KPIs to ensure marketing efforts are delivering results.
- Propose process improvements to streamline execution, reduce redundancies, and increase team efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Must have experience directly managing a marketing team of at least 4 or more.
- 4+ years of experience in marketing project management or marketing operations, preferably with experience managing a team.
- Strong knowledge of ecommerce marketing channels (digital, content, email, social media, etc.) and campaign workflows.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Wrike).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to motivate a team and interface with stakeholders across departments.
- Familiarity with ecommerce or consumer product industries.
- Experience managing marketing for multiple brands or product lines.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Project Management (PMP, CAPM, or similar) a plus.
- Previous experience working in a digital marketing agency environment is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, On-site position
- 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday work schedule
- hybrid or remote work WILL NOT be considered.
