Marketing Coordinator

Starting Salary: $25.24/hr. (negotiable dependent upon experience)

Basic Qualifications

Education/Training: Bachelor’s Degree, Business Management/Administration/Marketing.

Skill(s): Fully knowledgeable of the policies and all related bank regulations. Solid understanding of the bank’s products, services, customers and entities including geographic locations. Ability to build relationships using teamwork, problem identification and problem solution skills. Ability to market all bank products. Excellent project and time management skills. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Proficient in use of Microsoft suite products. Must be Proficient in the use of digital design software including InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe software.

Experience: 1-2 years in Banking Environment

General Responsibilities

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the marketing strategies to meet the Bank objectives while ensuring integrity of the Bank’s branding. Direct development of the Bank’s annual tactical marketing communications plan – an integrated program that may include radio, print, outdoor, direct marketing, online marketing, point of sale marketing and branch/community events – to achieve the Bank’s strategic initiatives within designated budgets.

Essential Duties

  1. Assist the AVP, Marketing Manager with the development and implementation of bank products and services goal objectives. Monitor and report progress towards completion of those goals and objectives.
  2. Responsible for advertising content creation using InDesign and Adobe Illustrator platforms.
  3. Responsible for coordinating the development and strategy to market all bank products.
  4. Oversee maintenance and use of Bank’s Marketing Customer Information File.
  5. Identify target customers and market segments in order to properly position products in the marketplace.
  6. Coordinate, review, and place promotional materials including advertising, stuffers, signs, banners, posters and postcards.
  7. Write press releases.
  8. Coordinate the development and execution of product plans.
  9. Purchase and maintain inventory of giveaway items.
  10. Coordinate public relations events.
  11. Survey competition
  12. SEO strategies
  13. Research new media and request price quotes.
  14. Review First Commerce Bank website.
  15. Promote Branch openings.
  16. Monitor and review Social Media.
  17. Perform other duties as assigned.

Ancillary Duties

  1. Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.
