Job DescriptionJob DescriptionStep Into Precision: A Day in This Role

From the moment you clock in, you’ll be hands-on with mission-critical hardware destined for U.S. Navy and aerospace applications. You’ll disassemble complex electro-mechanical assemblies, clean every component to like-new condition, inspect features against exacting specifications, and reassemble systems such as turbines, pumps, and gearboxes to tight tolerances. Your day often concludes with hydrostatic testing to verify fit and function, ensuring every unit performs to specification the first time.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute assembly and disassembly following work instructions and engineering documentation.
  • Clean, handle, and stage components to preserve precision surfaces and internal cleanliness.
  • Inspect hardware against stated requirements; document findings and escalate nonconformances.
  • Conduct and document hydrostatic testing to validate proper fitment and functionality.
  • Meet or exceed product specifications and quality requirements through each build stage.
  • Partner across departments (manufacturing, quality, engineering, supply chain) to keep data flowing and schedules on track.
  • Champion safety and product integrity throughout every process step.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvements to procedures, methods, and tooling to achieve zero defects.

Required Background

  • Meet one of the following: either a two-year technical degree (engineering technology, electronics, or related), or a minimum of two years of equivalent experience working with electro-mechanical assemblies and tests in manufacturing, engineering, or R&D.

Additional Details

  • Overtime may be required.
  • Travel up to 10% of working time.

Qualifications

  • Two-year technical degree (engineering technology, electronics, or related).
  • Experience across high/low voltage, electronics, plumbing, PLCs, HVAC, instrumentation, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Exposure to facilities and equipment maintenance.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this role is $23.00 to $28.00. This range reflects the anticipated minimum and maximum base + bonus for the position based on a good-faith, reasonable estimate. Final pay depends on your qualifications (education, training, and/or experience related to this role) and may fall outside the range depending on circumstances.
