Job Description

Marine Engineer – Gosport\nSalary: Competitive, depending on experience\nType: Full-time, Permanent\n\n I’m working with a busy marine service provider in the Gosport area, looking for an experienced Marine Engineer to join their hands-on team. You’ll be working on a variety of prestige yachts and motorboats up to 40m, helping to maintain, repair, and refit vessels to the highest standards.\n\n What you’ll be doing:\n\nPerforming mechanical and electrical maintenance on yachts and motorboats\n\nDiagnosing and repairing engines, systems, and onboard equipment\n\nAssisting with refit projects, upgrades, and troubleshooting\n\nWorking closely with other engineers, shipwrights, and the team to deliver high-quality service\n\nLiaising with clients and suppliers to ensure projects run smoothly\n\nThe ideal candidate:\n\nStrong marine engineering background (leisure yachts/motorboats)\n\nHands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems\n\nGood problem-solving and diagnostic skills\n\nStrong communication and teamworking abilities\n\nRelevant marine engineering qualifications/certifications \n\nOn-site availability in Gosport/Swanwick\n\nThis is a brilliant opportunity for a skilled, hands-on marine engineer who enjoys working on a variety of vessels and wants to join a professional, dedicated team.\n\nMarine Resources Recruitment Ltd acts as an employment agency for permanent and fixed term contract recruitment and as a recruitment business for the supply of contract workers.
