Senior Marine Engineer\nLocation: South Coast\nSalary - Dependant on experience\n\nWe are a looking for Senior Marine Engineer for a well established fast-growing marine business located on the South Coast, representing a range of premium brands in propulsion, electric propulsion, stabilisation, and onboard systems across all sectors. The Role will mainly based in Southampton with some travel required\n\nAs a Senior Marine Engineer, the role combines hands-on engineering expertise with technical leadership and project management, covering projects in different sectors.\n\nKey Responsibilities of the Senior Marine Engineer\n\nLead and oversee installation, diagnostics, testing, and maintenance of marine systems and machinery.\n\nProvide technical leadership on retrofits, new builds, and major overhauls.\n\nConduct performance assessments, system diagnostics, and root-cause failure investigations.\n\nReview and sign off technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.\n\nEnsure compliance with maritime regulations, classification standards, and company policies.\n\nSupport service leadership in managing budgets, schedules, and resources.\n\nMentor engineers and apprentices, contributing to team skill development.\n\nDeliver technical support to our dealer and service network.\n\nQualifications & Experience of Senior Marine Engineer\n\nDegree or equivalent qualification in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.\n\nProven expertise with propulsion systems, power , and fuel systems.\n\nKnowledge of onboard electrical systems.\n\nStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.\n\nWillingness to travel (UK and abroad) as required.\n\nStrong IT literacy, including Microsoft Office.\n\nMust hold A full UK drivers License and have the full right to work within the UK\nPosting History
