Marine Engineer\nLocation: Central London – River Thames\nJob Type: Full Time | Permanent\n\n Marine Resources are currently recruiting for a Marine Engineer for a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Central London on the River Thames.\n\n Our client provides marine engineering services to a range of private and commercially operated vessels working on the Thames. Due to continued demand for their services, they are looking to strengthen their engineering team with a hands-on engineer who enjoys working across a varied fleet and in a dynamic operational environment.\n\n This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of maintenance, servicing and refit projects, both afloat and during dockside works. No two days are quite the same, making it an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and problem-solving in a busy marine setting.\n\n Key Responsibilities\nCarry out routine maintenance and emergency repairs on marine engines, electrical systems and onboard machinery\n\nInspect, test and diagnose faults to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently\n\nSupport vessel repair and refurbishment projects both on the water and during dry dock periods\n\nUse diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems\n\nWork closely with operations teams to ensure all activities meet safety standards and regulatory requirements\n\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections and system performance\n\nAbout You\nPrevious experience working as a Marine Engineer\n\nStrong mechanical and fault-finding skills across marine systems\n\nExperience with diesel engines, electrical systems and onboard machinery\n\nAbility to work both independently and as part of a small engineering team\n\nA proactive, practical approach to maintenance and problem solving\n\nThis is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working on a variety of vessels operating in one of the UK’s busiest and most iconic waterways.\n\n For more information please call Sarah on (phone number removed) or hit apply if interested!\n\nMarine Resources Recruitment Ltd acts as an employment agency for permanent and fixed term contract recruitment and as a recruitment business for the supply of contract workers.
