Provision of a competent ADNOC Offshore Logistics (Marine / HSE) approved Marine Advisor to act as the COMPANY marine representative, experienced in offshore installation works.
Responsibilities
- Conduct marine vessel inspections (Marine / HSE)
- Attend Marine LD main office for routine daily work, including:
- Vessel monitoring
- Preparation of Scope of Work (SOW) and specifications for vessel tenders
- Reviewing risk assessments
- Participating in technical evaluations for vessels
- Conducting contractor audits (ISM and ASMC)
- Witness and monitor marine operations related to offshore lifts and installation activities
- Participate in and conduct incident investigations
- Provide technical and practical marine advice to contractor marine key personnel
- Verify that all marine and operational documentation complies with ADNOC Offshore standards
- Prepare all required reports
- Participate in emergency management and ensure timely reporting to focal points
- Ensure implementation of HSE marine-related rules
Education & Qualifications
- One of the following:
- Unlimited Class 1 Master Mariner Certificate of Competence (STCW 1995 & amendments) from a white list country
- BSc Degree in Maritime Discipline or equivalent
- Strong computer skills and experience in report writing
- Very good command of written and spoken English
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in offshore Oil & Gas, serving as Master on vessels such as:
- PSV
- AHTS
- Heavy Lift
- Dive
- Construction
- Pipe Lay
- Cable Lay
- DP and conventional vessels
- Familiarity with:
- ADNOC Offshore fields
- SIMO
- ASMV
- ASMC
- JUIMS
- Prior experience in ADNOC Offshore oil fields
