Quarterdeck is an established marina group providing high-quality services to the boating
community through our network of six marinas and growing. As we expand our operations,
were seeking a dedicated Marina Maintenance Technician to help us uphold the standards
that our clients and visitors expect.


Position Summary:
The Marina Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of marina facilities,
ensuring that docks, buildings, and common areas are well-maintained and safe. This role
involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of structures, utilities, and
equipment essential to the marinas operations.


Key Responsibilities:
Facility Maintenance: Perform maintenance on floating docks, piers, dry storage racks,
bulkheads, and buildings, including painting, carpentry, and minor construction as
needed.
Plumbing and Electrical Repairs: Assist with repairs to marina plumbing systems,
such as water supply lines and sewage systems, and basic electrical systems, including
boat lifts, and marina-specific hookups.
Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and perform routine maintenance on
various types of marina equipment, including forklifts, pumps, and small vessels.
Inspections and Reporting: Conduct regular inspections of marina facilities and
equipment, promptly reporting and addressing any issues.


Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a
marina or similar outdoor environment, is but we would be willing to train.
Technical Skills: Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical knowledge.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, lift up to
50 pounds, and handle physically demanding tasks.
