Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for a Manufacturing Technician. This is a 1st shift contract opportunity with a leading manufacturer of Pharmaceuticals located in Desoto, KS.

Pay: $21 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm M-F

Responsibilities:

·       Washing and sterilizing tanks utilizing high and low pressure water systems and high temperature steam

·       PPE is required and this position must be able to function while wearing PPE due to working with live steam, cleaning chemicals, pressurized tanks, pressurized with both air and steam.

·       Operate production equipment, including start up, minor adjustments, and quality monitoring as required.

·       Basic mechanical skills and aptitude is needed for this role.

·       The use of hand tools is required.

Requirements:

·       HS Diploma or equivalent required, BS in Biology or related Science strongly

·       Relevant manufacturing experience (1-3 Years)

·       Understanding and awareness of USDA regulations.

·       Dress and Conduct Requirements: The work is being performed in a clean and controlled environment.

·       Gowning requirements include: All personnel will wear safety glasses, head/hair covers, facial hair covers (if necessary), company-furnished uniform, and safety shoes.
