Job Description

Software Developer – Tulip MES Applications

Location: Milpitas, CA

Industry: Manufacturing / Medical Technology

Duration: Contract

Job Summary:

We're looking for a software developer to build and document applications using Tulip, a cloud-based Manufacturing Execution System (MES). You'll work with multiple teams to convert paper-based processes into digital workflows. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, can work independently, and collaborates well in an Agile team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and support software applications in Tulip
• Translate paper-based manufacturing and quality processes into digital solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and test plans
• Contribute to project planning and keep track of progress and deadlines
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues
• Ensure software meets quality and regulatory standards (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11)
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant software development experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in regulated industries and working with quality management systems
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
• Understanding of process automation or control systems

Skills:

• Experience building apps in Tulip
• Knowledge of MES systems
• Work experience in FDA or ISO-regulated environments
• Programming skills in C#, JavaScript, SQL Server
• Experience with Power BI and UX design
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and hardware
