Now Hiring! QUALITY INSPECTOR
Department: Quality Assurance/Injection Mold Company

Shift: 2nd Shift 2pm -10:30pm; Monday -Friday
Pay Rate: $19.00p/h

Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Quality Inspector to ensure that all production—from start-up to final product—meets customer specifications and company quality standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing inspections, documenting results, and working closely with production teams to maintain high-quality outputs.

Education & Experience:

• Must be able to read and write English legibly
• Computer literate
• MUST HAVE QC LAB EXP
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in inspection and/or manufacturing within an injection molding or plastic production company.

Responsibilities & Authority:

• Inspect new production jobs to ensure compliance with customer requirements (material, , size, additives, assemblies, packaging, etc.)
• Ensure operators follow in-process procedures (trimming, assembling, packing, etc.)
• Identify and document non-conforming materials or products and verify corrective actions
• Maintain samples for start-up and final product
• Conduct all customer-mandated testing and record documentation
• Collaborate with operators, leads, mold technicians, and the Quality Control Manager
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality control documentation

Knowledge & Skills:

• Reliable and punctual
• Strong communication skills; ability to work well with all levels of staff and customers
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail; ability to multitask
• Ability to read blueprints and customer-related drawings
• Proficient in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, comparators, and bore gauges
• Familiar with quality practices, including sampling plans, tolerances, functional testing, and visual inspection
• Able to document all aspects of quality procedures, including start-up, in-process, final inspection, corrective actions, testing, and labeling
