Sterling Engineering is hiring a Manufacturing & Quality Engineer for a growing, innovative manufacturer focused on delivering high-quality products through advanced processes and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the key liaison between design engineering and manufacturing to ensure successful product launches
• Develop, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost
• Implement and maintain ISO 9001-compliant processes, documentation, and quality systems
• Support internal and external audits while promoting a strong culture of quality and compliance
• Develop and maintain control plans, PFMEAs, and inspection criteria
• Establish and monitor SPC charts; analyze process data to identify trends and drive improvements
• Support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or quality engineering roles
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and quality systems
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
• Some experience with SPC, data analysis, and process optimization
• Background in an assembly or especially an electrical assembly environment would be a help
