Manufacturing Process Engineer
Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience level ($70k/yr+)

Description:
- Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for a growing company that services the aerospace, government, and commercial industries. A prospective candidate will be will be responsible for supporting all manufacturing operations while driving continuous improvement using lean manufacturing principals.
Job Duties:
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
- Develop highly capable manufacturing processes for new products
- Revise existing processes to minimize risk
- Design new fixturing and/or gages
- Create 2D and 3D drawings (AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor)
- Oversee the verification of processes meeting the requirements of Engineering drawings
- Actively participate in team-based problem solving and continuous improvement activities
- Develop, evaluate, and implement employee suggestions and employee driven continuous improvement activities
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience with Lean manufacturing desired
- Structured problem-solving skills
- CAD experience, Autodesk desired
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
- Tolerance stack up analysis
- An understanding of non-machining processes such as plating, coatings, welding and brazing
- Understanding the complexities of 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC Machining
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Manufacturing experience and/or machining experience desired
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in either Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and/or experience as a machinist
- Minimum 3 years of experience in developing processes for the machining of various metallic or composite components
Work Environment:
- Clean shop with new machinery (Akuma, Doosan, Haas, Mazak)
