We are seeking a detail‐oriented Entry-Level/Junior Manufacturing Process Engineer to support engineering, production, and operations within a large-scale manufacturing environment.
This role is ideal for early‐career engineers who want hands‐on experience with manufacturing systems, process improvement, ERP workflows, and cross‐functional collaboration.
You will assist with daily engineering tasks, support ERP and manufacturing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing Engineering & Process Support
- Review engineering drawings for design‐to‐manufacture opportunities, pathing solutions, and process improvements.
- Assist in developing, documenting, and improving standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity assessments to optimize production.
Epicor / ERP Responsibilities
- Enter new jobs into Epicor, ensuring accuracy and alignment with engineering and production requirements.
- Enter and assign tracking methods for internal and external materials.
- Perform labor entry and train floor staff on proper labor reporting practices.
- Develop solutions within ERP/Epicor to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
- Train staff across departments on Epicor usage appropriate to their roles.
- Review and ensure accurate job costing practices within the ERP system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, or similar).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple teams.
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.
- or co‐op experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting a strong plus
