Job Title: Production Manager

Location: Brookville, IN

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: Up to $180,000 per year (based on experience)

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Overview:

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Manager for one of our top partners in the precast manufacturing industry. This critical leadership role will oversee the full lifecycle of precast projects—from order intake through final delivery—ensuring that all functional areas are aligned to meet customer requirements for quality, timeline, and execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management capabilities, production oversight experience, and excellent communication skills to foster collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities:Project Oversight

  • Lead end-to-end management of precast projects, ensuring smooth handoffs between departments from engineering through delivery.
  • Develop tools and frameworks to improve cross-departmental communication and operational transparency.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach by aligning internal operations with external delivery expectations.

Production Leadership

  • Direct daily operations including casting, mold prep, stripping, curing, and packaging.
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and optimized production practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and mold fabrication teams to guarantee mold accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

Procurement & Materials

  • Provide purchasing teams with detailed bills of materials and delivery timelines.
  • Identify and recommend cost-effective vendors and material options.
  • Support inventory strategies that reduce material variation and ensure continuity of supply.

Scheduling & Logistics

  • Align production output with project deadlines and coordinate schedules with production teams.
  • Optimize equipment usage (e.g., ovens, mixers) to maintain flow.
  • Ensure shipping and logistics teams are informed of all dimensional and scheduling requirements.

Human Resources

  • Lead and develop a team of direct reports through performance management, coaching, and training.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding efforts for new hires.
  • Address personnel issues and make recommendations for compensation and role adjustments.

Leadership & Culture

  • Champion a culture of professionalism, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully across all levels of the organization.
  • Actively support ethical standards, confidentiality, and company values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proven track record in project management and cross-functional team leadership.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using production management tools, ERP systems, and communication platforms.
