Manufacturing Planner

Position Summary:

· Develop and maintain various manufacturing plans, bill of materials, work instructions, and illustrations to define and document the as-built configurations

· Develop manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives

· Utilize skills to develop and integrate suppliers, processes, materials, data & technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Duties and Tasks:

· Review engineering data and specifications to ensure manufacturing related requirements can be met.

· Develop integrated work instructions and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Work instructions to include identification of sequential and final inspection requirements.

· Develop tooling requirements based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.

· Perform produceability assessments for a product design and provide produceability input for design engineering, manufacturing process development, and manufacturing technologies to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives.

Draft, update, and review manufacturing processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
