We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our production team. You will drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement in our mixed mode manufacturing environment, overseeing both custom engineered, and standard products. We offer a challenging, rewarding role for a hands-on leader who is ready to make a significant impact.

Your key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations: Direct all manufacturing activities including machining and electroplating operations to ensure production and quality targets are met efficiently and on schedule.
• Manage mixed-mode production: Effectively manage and prioritize resources across our build-to-order and standard manufacturing processes.
• Enhance quality and efficiency: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to uphold our high standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean or Six Sigma).
• Lead and develop your team: Provide strong leadership to production staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence.
• Manage resources and budget: Oversee production budgets, manage inventory levels, and optimize resource allocation to meet financial goals.
• Collaborate across departments: Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and sales teams to align production with overall business objectives.
• Drive process improvements: Analyze operational data and KPIs to identify bottlenecks and implement effective, data-driven solutions.

What you bring to the table

• Proven experience in a midsize mixed-mode manufacturing setting of engineered products.
• Strong leadership skills and a track record of motivating and developing a high-performing team.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with modern manufacturing software and ERP systems.
• Experience with precision machining operations.
• Experience with plating operations is highly desirable, including an understanding of plating processes and quality control procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with all levels of the organization.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
