Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking a Production Equipment Technician to join our team at our facility in Carrollton, Texas. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent potential for long-term employment and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and changeover of packaging production lines
• Assist operators with equipment adjustments and troubleshooting
• Perform preventive maintenance on vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal systems
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
• Ensure equipment operates within FDA-regulated cGMP standards

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with packaging equipment (preferably form-fill-seal systems)
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Clear communication and collaboration with production and maintenance teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods

Experience

• Experience with vertical baggers and horizontal pouch machines (Bartelt experience a plus)
• Previous work in FDA-regulated or cGMP-compliant facilities
• Basic welding or fabrication skills
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
