Manufacturing Machine Operator/Rotating in Miami

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionEmployment Solutions is looking for a Manufacturing Machine Operator to work in the Opa-Locka area for a tobacco manufacturing plant.  The right candidates will have experience operating industrial machinery for manufacturing purposes.
Hours:  Rotating Shift 5:30am - 2:10pm, 2pm - 10:40pm Monday to Friday
Pay:  $21.00 per hour
Duties:

• Manages and enforces procedures and instructions as well as ISO 9001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, FDA, GMP, EPA, etc. practices.
• Could be working with Filter Maker Machine, Cigarette Maker Machine, and/or Packer Machine, 
• Will be responsible to follow up and set up procedures to start-up machine and shut-off at the end of the day.
• Removes finished filters, makes sure filters are made correctly and stacked for raw materials warehouse.
• Ensures raw materials is correct (tobacco, paper, filters, adhesive, cleaning materials) for the type of product that is being manufactured.
• Ensures waste of raw materials.
• Makes sure cigarette parameters are correct and meet set standards.
• Monitors system and takes samples are set times
• Places cartons in master cases.
• Records and documents production information.
• Must follow cleaning guidelines.
• Performs minor mechanical adjustments as needed. 

Requirements:

• Capacity to understand documents in written in English and communicate in Spanish. 
• Have 2 - 3 years of prior experience working with manufacturing machinery. 
• Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted. 
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
