Summary

The Manufacturing Industrialization Engineer is responsible for ensuring a smooth transition from product development to mass production. This role focuses on designing, validating, and optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows to support new product introductions (NPIs) and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product design engineering, quality, and production teams to transition new products from prototype to mass production, meeting project release dates on time.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and equipment for new product lines, identifying and implementing improvements in cycle time, yield, and cost.
  • Define and implement production line layouts, tooling, and automation solutions.
  • Manage project across teams to lead the ramp-up of production lines, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.
  • Provide training and documentation for production teams on new processes and equipment.
  • Conduct Design for Manufacturability/Assembly (DFM/A) reviews to ensure efficient production.
  • Lead pilot builds and validate manufacturing processes through testing and data analysis.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, PFMEAs, and quality/process control plans.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards throughout the industrialization process.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, or process development.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, lean methodologies, and process validation.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools and manufacturing simulation software.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with automation, robotics, and digital manufacturing technologies
  • Experience in high-mix, low-volume or high-volume manufacturing environments.

Location: This position is located on-site in Longmont, CO.

Base Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000 is the projected range of annual base salary for this role depending on the candidate’s overall qualifications and experience.
